Hannah’s passion for working with children blended with studying the fields of psychology and education is what has gotten her to where she is today. Since she was a young child, Hannah has had an interest in taking care of children and learning about how people, and their brains, “work”. Hannah was always torn between becoming a teacher or becoming a psychologist; her senior year of college taught her that there was a way to combine the two. The Spring of 2019, Hannah took a class titled Understanding Autism. In this class, Hannah learned about Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). ABA can build social skills, communication techniques, and learning via methods that use reinforcement. With these as areas of interest, Hannah took the next couple of years and worked at Kennedy Krieger Institute as a Classroom Assistant and then as an Assistant Teacher. As time went on, she decided to pursue ABA full-time. Hannah is currently a Registered Behavior Technician who is working towards becoming a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. She attended Roland Park Country School and then went on to graduate from Hobart and William Smith Colleges where she graduated with double majors in Psychology and Educational Studies and with a minor in Child Advocacy. She is currently pursuing her Masters in Applied Behavior Analysis with a Certificate in Autism at Ball State University.
